从事草原家畜胚胎发育和干细胞的研究,主持国家和省部级课题10项,其中国家转基因重大专项子课题4项、国家自然科学基金3项、内蒙古科技重大专项子课题1项、内蒙古自然基金重大项目1项、内蒙古科技计划项目1项和内蒙古自治区高等学校“创新团队发展计划”1项。
在国内外杂志发表研究论文52篇,其中SCI收录26篇。深入挖掘了Dppa2/4在ZGA过程中的作用机制,发现Dppa2/4调控胚胎基因组激活的分子生物学途径,研究结果发表在SCI一区杂志Briefings in Bioinformatics(2020 IF: 11.622),并被《中国科技网》报道。在体外受精(IVF)胚胎发育的母源合子转化阶段,利用小分子抑制剂提高牛和小鼠IVF胚胎发育率;发现脂肪酸代谢的变化可以作为母源合子转化的标志物,研究结果发表于SCI二区杂志Theriogenology。在干细胞研究方面,利用含有bFGF和经典Wnt信号通路抑制剂的培养体系建立牛胚胎干细胞,发现在胚胎期和建系后进行MLL1的抑制,可以降低牛胚胎干细胞的H3K4me1和H3K4me2的甲基化,同时降低DNA甲基化水平,为牛Naïve胚胎干细胞建系奠定基础。利用牛iPSCs转化和牛成纤维细胞重编程获得牛EPSCs,并证明其具有胎儿和胎盘分化潜力。研究结果发表在SCI二区杂志FEBS Journal、Stem Cell and Development等杂志。
